GOLLUM: Precious is gone. No precious. Nasty men, they put precious on film, try to make us watch it over and over. We hates them.
SMEAGOL: But Smeagol is famous, famous in all the western lands and beyond the Great River's end. More famous than before, always more people watching Smeagol now. Smeagol's face very important, even without the precious. Smeagol sees face everywhere, even in Wal-Mart.
GOLLUM: Ach! Sss - no! We shouldn't have taken men's advice. We shouldn't have watched. Face is cruel - men plays tricks on us. Men takes fat hobbitses and makes them look thin on wide screen; takes Sméagol and makes us look wretched. Don't look at us! Go away! Gollum, gollum.
SMEAGOL: Silly! Of course we looks wrong on wide screen, but we looks good! Good Sméagol! And elves looks good, and men looks good, even triksy wizards looks good. And orcs, yes, even orcs. GOLLUM: No, not good as fish. Smeagol musn't say that. Precious master stays overlong at Helm's Deep, then brings elves there. Wizard comes with more men and orcs run away. Not sensible. No elves in book at Helm's Deep, not now, not ever. Only Huorns, wild cousins of Ents. Huorns win battle for men, surround orcs and squash them. Much better for big wide screen: big trees crush nasty orcs. Not seen before on wide screen. There are big battles in many films now, you see them, and you want to yawn. You can keep wizard and elves - give me Huorns at Helm's Deep.
SMEAGOL: Last film is the best, so says master. Master says it is his favorite. It will have everything that has been missed, and story will be finished. Many will be disappointed, with no more films to wait for.

Extended DVD will come soon, will have more, but not much. Only flashback with Faramir and Boromir, and other hobbits at Isengard wreckage. Web site says so. But will it have Saruman confronted at Isengard? The hobbit Pippin taking the palantir? We doubtses. And Sam taking the precious - of course not, She comes first.

The same wide-eyed little girl actor, there she is again, this time as a child of Rohan. But Sméagol does not think Master thought the watching faces would notice.

THERE GOES ANOTHER SUNDAY
Wasted all day, and busy finishing the reports on the interviews conducted on the scholarship holders at nite... It feels weird writing a report on an interview with myself... I'll posted my draft here:
Lee Chong Aik
Bursting with energy and full of enthusiasm, Lee Chong Aik was awarded RM 2000 worth of merit scholarship from Taylor’s College for achieving 9 A’s in his SPM. A happy-go-lucky person, Chong Aik chooses CPU among other Pre-University courses offered at Taylor’s College because of its unique continual assessment system, which he feels is a refreshing change from the rigid examination-based system from his earlier years of studies. He has not regretted his choice since, for he found the study enviroment in CPU to be very interactive and interesting. Each lecturer has their own distinct style of teaching, and all of them are very helpful and approachable. One of his most memorable experiences was when he participates in the community service required in CPU by helping out children at the House of Joy. It was his first time participating in any volunteer works, and he enjoyed much from his experience. He plans to get an average result of 90% and above, and judging from his result so far, he has a high chance of achieving that. He has chosen Medicine as his future career, and has decided to enter the International Medical University after he graduates from CPU.
“Don’t just study hard, but study smart too! Find out what type of study method best suited you, and apply it. You will surely perform well academically then!”
Neat? >=) I'm sure Sebastian will have much to say about that... Protests would have been a better word... =p

TOTAL MESS...
Went to MidValley for the anime festival... Met a lot of frens along the way... Beng Hong n sis (with Mr. Teacock, a CPU teacher from Canada!!! I wonder what is he doing there), Ken, Edison, Wing Ken etc. I was mildly surprised to found out that 16,000 ppl (according to the emcee) visited the festival during my time there... That means, there's MORE later after I've returned...
But very unfortunately... AXN n partners definitely didn't expect the HUGE number of ppl... The hall is juz much too small... Imagined thousands of ppl stuck inside Taylor's MPH and u'll get the picture... N it's a mess... Free gifts were given, but they cannot maintain the order... Ppl shoving each other, causing tables n chairs to fall, hands grabbing the gifts as they thrown them towards the crowds, the stench of sweat n body odour... Yuck...
Furthermore, they didn't plan their activities well... There's no timetable or schedule or watsoever... Complete total mess... Ppl squeezing in like sardines, n the ppl at the back can't see anything... Sigh... Bad bad insufficient planning... But the cosplay is quite cool though... although some of the participants are downrite L-A-M-E...
But the thing that disappoints n angered me most is the ONE DVD that I've went all the way to MidValley for was not there... The cashier told me it's sold out... Not only later was I informed by my fren that they did in fact have the DVD...They kept it bcos they found out the demand is high, n thus want to increase the price b4 they sell it... Blasted fools!!! Eeeeeee... Made me so disappointed...
Oh well, guess I got to go check that out Sunway Pyramid instead... Hopefully by tomolo...

LUV TO PLEASE...
Muahahaha... I've found the very model lab Mrs Joanne wants!!! Oooo she'll be so please... I have this tendency to please people... I wonder is that a good thing or bad... Hmmm... I enjoyed being a teacher's pet, but sadly, only a few teachers even noticed me... Sigh... But nvm... Life in CPU is different... Hahaha...
Well, I should have start the story from the beginning... Mrs Joanne assigned us a few days ago to look for a lab instructions on the Net a few days ago... Her student from an earlier semester found it, and it's an excellent lab activity... But she have lost the address n papers... So all Bio students under Mrs. Joanne are supposed to hunt for that lab n print it out...
At first I'm outraged by the "assignment"... I mean, come on, there's millions of site out there, n u want us to go search for ONE PARTICULAR WEBSITE?! Furthermore, I dun think that is an "assignment" at all... More of a manipulation-of-students-to-get-wat-I-want-for-the-lab thing... If she gives us bonus mark for that, I'll happily to it. But if she make it as an assessment... I think it is downright unappropriate and unethical! >=(
Well, since I surf very frequently (almost every free time I got! ^_^), I use Google to look for it... using the key words she gave: Translation Transcription Model Lab... To no avail... There's only one site under that search that is decent, but still not the 1 she wanted... Furthermore, she banned us from printing that since someone already did it... So continue the search...
I'm starting to get very annoyed (heck, this has MARKS!!! Must get a good one!!!) when an idea struck me (or perhaps God put it into my head... Praise Him!!!)!!! Since she mentioned this is a cut models from paper kinda lab, why not use a better key word... like Cut? I'm sure the website will have that word!! So I typed Translation Transcription Cut... LO & BEHOLD!!! The very website she wanted at the very 1st result!!! Of course, I duuno if it's the website she wanted at first, but I'm almost 100% certain of it... Call it intuition or wateva, IT MUST BE!!!
But the next problem is... There's almost 30 pages that I need to print!!! N i dun have a printer at my home!!! Dang!!! So I request Jayne if she could print it for me using her printer... It's a BIG request, n I dun expect her to say yes... Guess wat? She actually gave me her ID. no and password so I can print it at college!!! At 1st I dun believe it, so I keep on asking her if she's sure of it... In fact I end up annoyed her... Said she's not using the quota anyway... Well, THANK U JAYNE!!!
So I printed them all at the library first thing in the morning... Her quota was reduced from 31 to 2... N I can't contained my excitement!!! This must be the one she wanted!!! At period 3, I was surprised to find the students from Bio class to be at the library... They doing some research here, n Mrs Joanne was here!!! Unable to contain my excitement, I get the papers n rushed to her... She actually utter a gasp of delight n ask me how I get it!! YYYYEEEAAA!!!
Oooo oooo happy me!!! Hopefully she'll took more notice of me from now on!!! Heah hah hah... I'M SO HAPPY NOW!!! Woohoo!!! Oops... almost time for Physics class now... So I'll end here!!! I live to please!!! >=)

DISTURBING JEALOUSY
I was in Bio class when suddenly Ishvin started talking to me aloud, "THOMAS!!! WAT HAVE U GOT TO SAY FOR URSELF FOR GETTING THE HIGHEST MARK IN BIOLOGY?!" I was like, "Huh?!" I'm totally confused and in shock!!! Wat the heck did she mean by that? She spoke so loudly that the entire class could hear what she speaks... Too surprised to answer or reply, I juz laugh like an idiot... Heck, wat can I say that won't make me look bad?! She goes on with my other subjects too... 80+ n 90+ for other subjects... bla bla bla... Something about have to know how to answer these questions bcos I will be interviewed by the end of the year bla bla bla... Man, I was too shock to keep track on wat she said... She sounds as if she's trying to conceal her... discontentment... or izzit jealousy? Hmmm...

Following a suggestion by a fren, the midi in my blog is removed to prevent annoyance... N since I'm slowly but steadily becoming an anime fan, I've posted a link to a good anime review site on the links section: The Anime Review. Anyone that is interested in anime should check the site out... Quite a decent one... I may even add an Anime sites section in the future... Well, we'll see... >=)
