Went accompany my grandma at 1 pm today... She's quite nervous... Then to the hospital at 2... Chit chat and prayed in the ward room till 4.30 pm... Many of my relativs came... 3 uncles, my aunt, my cousin, n me, of course. Reverend Hong also came to pray for my grandma!! It's not so hard, since the church is juz beside the hospital!! After grandma entered the operation theatre, we have a lite meal at the hospital's cafeteria. The food and drinks ain't good, but the chat were quite amusing... This is the 1st time I really mixed with my uncles n aunt and talk about adult stuff... Foreign food, oversea countries, surgery (1 of my uncle is a specialist, and my aunt a pharmacist), education etc. Really amusing... Guess I'm stepping into the adult world, eh? <=/
Grandma came out from the operation theatre at 7pm, in a drowsy state. The operation is a success!! Her cornea of the left eye has been transplanted!! Praise God!! But there's one thing she dun know... Shhhh... If u're reading this, u're sworn to secrecy... The cornea that has been transplanted to her left eye... is from a real human!!! Taken after he or she (I dunno) is died!!! Cadaverous donation!!! Kinda scary, dun u think? Imagine looking at the world around u through someone else's (dead summore) cornea... She must never know... or she will be seriously freak out!!
Ans so I left the hospital at 7.30... So 1 hour at grandma's house, 5 at hospital... 5 + 1 = 6 hours!! And that's not all!! I came back home and rested for about 30 minutes, and off I go to Andalas Corner beside Taman Rakyat Klang for a dinner with my CG members... Chin Seng is leaving tomorrow for Sheffield, UK... Sigh... One less CG member... Then Yann Kai and Ping Yin... Wa... All flew oversea lo... Anyway, it's time well spent. Really enjoyed having fellowship with them. And nice dinner too! Black Pepper Chicken Chop + Mushrooms and Orange Juice... Yummie!! ;)
