AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!! The trailer ROCKS!!! But damn Taylor's lousy pc... No sound!!! Aaaawwww man... Nvm... Once the official site upload the movie trailer, I'll download it back home!!!! >=)

This article is hilarious!!! Take a look!!! WARNING: It may be spoiler-ish to some of u... Juz may be...

DVD Review: The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

By Gollum and Smeagol

SMEAGOL: Good master, wise master, nice master! Master is on DVD, yes, yes, again on DVD, along with Sam, the hobbit who knows so much. The Two Towers they calls it.

GOLLUM: Precious is gone. No precious. Nasty men, they put precious on film, try to make us watch it over and over. We hates them.

SMEAGOL: But Smeagol is famous, famous in all the western lands and beyond the Great River's end. More famous than before, always more people watching Smeagol now. Smeagol's face very important, even without the precious. Smeagol sees face everywhere, even in Wal-Mart.

GOLLUM: Ach! Sss - no! We shouldn't have taken men's advice. We shouldn't have watched. Face is cruel - men plays tricks on us. Men takes fat hobbitses and makes them look thin on wide screen; takes Sméagol and makes us look wretched. Don't look at us! Go away! Gollum, gollum.

SMEAGOL: Silly! Of course we looks wrong on wide screen, but we looks good! Good Sméagol! And elves looks good, and men looks good, even triksy wizards looks good. And orcs, yes, even orcs. Smeagol has talked to Orcs, yes of course, before he met master, and to many peoples: he has walked very far. And what he says now many peoples are saying. All look good on Master Peter Jackson's fat wide screen. Except the wargs. They looks like hyenas.

GOLLUM: Jackson is nasty, tricksy. And he is not our Master. Gollum.

SMEAGOL: Jackson is good, wise. Doesn't give Smeagol green skin like sneaksy cartoons. Jackson is our master now. Precious is gone. Book took precious long ago. Smeagol doesn't need precious. Smeagol will serve the master of the wide screen now.

GOLLUM: No, no! The wide screen lies. Many places are wrong. Precious is revealed to Nazgûl at the city of men by the river. He knows now, He knows where the precious is. He'll get it now, and eat us all, eat all the world. Tricksy director must change story now, or maybe not. No, maybe he'll just let it pass, they do it all the time in nasty wide films, not try to make sense to poor Smeagol. Too many changes, Smeagol does not understand them all. Wide screen shows us singing at the Forbidden Pool, but we didn't sing there. Nasty men make wide screen lie.

SMEAGOL: Smeagol doesn't mind. But we did sing, no not at the Pool. We splashed our feet in the shallow stony stream before passing through the marshes, we did. We sang there, not at the Pool. Master moved our song to the Pool. Nice sensible master he is.

GOLLUM: You are not wise to be glad of the wide screen. Where was She? She was missing, only mentioned at the end. Now She must be squeezed to fit in the last film, where much else is left to be squeezed to fit. Foolish Jackson, he's not our master. He didn't want Her to be compared to Aragog, who came first on big screen last year. Nice sensible master? Spooked by Harry Potter, he was.

SMEAGOL: No, sweet one. See, Master has good reason to wait for Her. But Master did not ask. He does not tell poor Smeagol what he means to do. Master must know of another way. Nice master. Smeagol very good, always trusts master.

GOLLUM: He's a sneak. On, on, on he goes. We do not want to see other way. Other way has nasty elf lady in battle in next film. Elf lady in book was not in battle. No Arwen in Two Towers. Only in Appendixes.

SMÉAGOL: Oh, yes, O yes, Arwen was in appendixes, mostly. But Sméagol does not care.

GOLLUM: No! Silly film has Arwen scenes looking like Australian feminine products commercials, as they say. Foolish, yes foolish!

SMEAGOL: Yet many faces watch. Most Precious Master! Many faces like what they see. It is good, good as fish, sweet one.

GOLLUM: No, not good as fish. Smeagol musn't say that. Precious master stays overlong at Helm's Deep, then brings elves there. Wizard comes with more men and orcs run away. Not sensible. No elves in book at Helm's Deep, not now, not ever. Only Huorns, wild cousins of Ents. Huorns win battle for men, surround orcs and squash them. Much better for big wide screen: big trees crush nasty orcs. Not seen before on wide screen. There are big battles in many films now, you see them, and you want to yawn. You can keep wizard and elves - give me Huorns at Helm's Deep.

SMEAGOL: Last film is the best, so says master. Master says it is his favorite. It will have everything that has been missed, and story will be finished. Many will be disappointed, with no more films to wait for.

GOLLUM: Yes, yes, we looks forward to films too, even though no Huorns. But there is much left from Two Towers to put into last film. Much is missing in Two Towers film. Extended DVD will come soon, will have more, but not much. Only flashback with Faramir and Boromir, and other hobbits at Isengard wreckage. Web site says so. But will it have Saruman confronted at Isengard? The hobbit Pippin taking the palantir? We doubtses. And Sam taking the precious - of course not, She comes first.

SMEAGOL: Master knows best. He must be saving the narrow stair for the next film, and the Silent Watchers, and the nasty orcs killing each other. But no more fishes.

GOLLUM: And no more silly scenes that lookses like the Wizard of Oz. It isn't funny, Oh no! Not amusing.

SMEAGOL: Yes, not amusing to you, perhaps. Smeagol does not share this view. You say the scene where we comes to the Black Gate with the nice hobbit and the suspicious hobbit is much akin to the Wizard of Oz, where the lion, tin man and stuffed scarecrow look down on the witch's castle and sneak in dressed as guards. Smeagol does not agree - it's not sensible.

GOLLUM: What, then, of the hobbit child in Rohan? Very sneaksy, it was, for the Wise Director to do this.

SMEAGOL: No, not sneaksy. Smeagol does not know why. There may be a silly purpose, an inside joke, but we doesn't think so. Master just used the same actor twice, that's all. First in 'Fellowship,' where Baggins is telling the hobbit children about meeting the trolls. Then, in 'The Two Towers,' where the women and children are huddled inside Helm's Deep. The same wide-eyed little girl actor, there she is again, this time as a child of Rohan. But Sméagol does not think Master thought the watching faces would notice.

GOLLUM: Too much Helm's Deep, not enough Treebeard, that's what we noticed. And too much Smeagol. Don't look at us anymore! Gollum, gollum.

SMEAGOL: Now on we go! Very interested, of course; so we are, my precious, all of us. But we must take care when buying the DVD - it comes in Fullscreen and Widescreen - be very careful when choosing!

Wasted all day, and busy finishing the reports on the interviews conducted on the scholarship holders at nite... It feels weird writing a report on an interview with myself... I'll posted my draft here:

Lee Chong Aik

Bursting with energy and full of enthusiasm, Lee Chong Aik was awarded RM 2000 worth of merit scholarship from Taylor’s College for achieving 9 A’s in his SPM. A happy-go-lucky person, Chong Aik chooses CPU among other Pre-University courses offered at Taylor’s College because of its unique continual assessment system, which he feels is a refreshing change from the rigid examination-based system from his earlier years of studies. He has not regretted his choice since, for he found the study enviroment in CPU to be very interactive and interesting. Each lecturer has their own distinct style of teaching, and all of them are very helpful and approachable. One of his most memorable experiences was when he participates in the community service required in CPU by helping out children at the House of Joy. It was his first time participating in any volunteer works, and he enjoyed much from his experience. He plans to get an average result of 90% and above, and judging from his result so far, he has a high chance of achieving that. He has chosen Medicine as his future career, and has decided to enter the International Medical University after he graduates from CPU.

“Don’t just study hard, but study smart too! Find out what type of study method best suited you, and apply it. You will surely perform well academically then!”

Neat? >=) I'm sure Sebastian will have much to say about that... Protests would have been a better word... =p

Went to MidValley for the anime festival... Met a lot of frens along the way... Beng Hong n sis (with Mr. Teacock, a CPU teacher from Canada!!! I wonder what is he doing there), Ken, Edison, Wing Ken etc. I was mildly surprised to found out that 16,000 ppl (according to the emcee) visited the festival during my time there... That means, there's MORE later after I've returned...

But very unfortunately... AXN n partners definitely didn't expect the HUGE number of ppl... The hall is juz much too small... Imagined thousands of ppl stuck inside Taylor's MPH and u'll get the picture... N it's a mess... Free gifts were given, but they cannot maintain the order... Ppl shoving each other, causing tables n chairs to fall, hands grabbing the gifts as they thrown them towards the crowds, the stench of sweat n body odour... Yuck...

Furthermore, they didn't plan their activities well... There's no timetable or schedule or watsoever... Complete total mess... Ppl squeezing in like sardines, n the ppl at the back can't see anything... Sigh... Bad bad insufficient planning... But the cosplay is quite cool though... although some of the participants are downrite L-A-M-E...

But the thing that disappoints n angered me most is the ONE DVD that I've went all the way to MidValley for was not there... The cashier told me it's sold out... Not only later was I informed by my fren that they did in fact have the DVD...They kept it bcos they found out the demand is high, n thus want to increase the price b4 they sell it... Blasted fools!!! Eeeeeee... Made me so disappointed...

Oh well, guess I got to go check that out Sunway Pyramid instead... Hopefully by tomolo...

Muahahaha... I've found the very model lab Mrs Joanne wants!!! Oooo she'll be so please... I have this tendency to please people... I wonder is that a good thing or bad... Hmmm... I enjoyed being a teacher's pet, but sadly, only a few teachers even noticed me... Sigh... But nvm... Life in CPU is different... Hahaha...

Well, I should have start the story from the beginning... Mrs Joanne assigned us a few days ago to look for a lab instructions on the Net a few days ago... Her student from an earlier semester found it, and it's an excellent lab activity... But she have lost the address n papers... So all Bio students under Mrs. Joanne are supposed to hunt for that lab n print it out...

At first I'm outraged by the "assignment"... I mean, come on, there's millions of site out there, n u want us to go search for ONE PARTICULAR WEBSITE?! Furthermore, I dun think that is an "assignment" at all... More of a manipulation-of-students-to-get-wat-I-want-for-the-lab thing... If she gives us bonus mark for that, I'll happily to it. But if she make it as an assessment... I think it is downright unappropriate and unethical! >=(

Well, since I surf very frequently (almost every free time I got! ^_^), I use Google to look for it... using the key words she gave: Translation Transcription Model Lab... To no avail... There's only one site under that search that is decent, but still not the 1 she wanted... Furthermore, she banned us from printing that since someone already did it... So continue the search...

I'm starting to get very annoyed (heck, this has MARKS!!! Must get a good one!!!) when an idea struck me (or perhaps God put it into my head... Praise Him!!!)!!! Since she mentioned this is a cut models from paper kinda lab, why not use a better key word... like Cut? I'm sure the website will have that word!! So I typed Translation Transcription Cut... LO & BEHOLD!!! The very website she wanted at the very 1st result!!! Of course, I duuno if it's the website she wanted at first, but I'm almost 100% certain of it... Call it intuition or wateva, IT MUST BE!!!

But the next problem is... There's almost 30 pages that I need to print!!! N i dun have a printer at my home!!! Dang!!! So I request Jayne if she could print it for me using her printer... It's a BIG request, n I dun expect her to say yes... Guess wat? She actually gave me her ID. no and password so I can print it at college!!! At 1st I dun believe it, so I keep on asking her if she's sure of it... In fact I end up annoyed her... Said she's not using the quota anyway... Well, THANK U JAYNE!!!

So I printed them all at the library first thing in the morning... Her quota was reduced from 31 to 2... N I can't contained my excitement!!! This must be the one she wanted!!! At period 3, I was surprised to find the students from Bio class to be at the library... They doing some research here, n Mrs Joanne was here!!! Unable to contain my excitement, I get the papers n rushed to her... She actually utter a gasp of delight n ask me how I get it!! YYYYEEEAAA!!!

Oooo oooo happy me!!! Hopefully she'll took more notice of me from now on!!! Heah hah hah... I'M SO HAPPY NOW!!! Woohoo!!! Oops... almost time for Physics class now... So I'll end here!!! I live to please!!! >=)

....That's not bad rite?.... <=/

I was in Bio class when suddenly Ishvin started talking to me aloud, "THOMAS!!! WAT HAVE U GOT TO SAY FOR URSELF FOR GETTING THE HIGHEST MARK IN BIOLOGY?!" I was like, "Huh?!" I'm totally confused and in shock!!! Wat the heck did she mean by that? She spoke so loudly that the entire class could hear what she speaks... Too surprised to answer or reply, I juz laugh like an idiot... Heck, wat can I say that won't make me look bad?! She goes on with my other subjects too... 80+ n 90+ for other subjects... bla bla bla... Something about have to know how to answer these questions bcos I will be interviewed by the end of the year bla bla bla... Man, I was too shock to keep track on wat she said... She sounds as if she's trying to conceal her... discontentment... or izzit jealousy? Hmmm...

I'm really disturbed by the way she acted... Well, I dun mind being well-known -who would? >=) -, but being an object of jealousy?! Heck, juz a few months ago I'm a nobody!!! N now... Wow... Hopefully this will wnd after CPU... Too freaky for me to accept... Much too freaky... Someone jealous at ME?! <=S N I suspect she's not the only 1... There's a girl who kept talking bout me in Jayne's class... N from wat I heard, it's not positive talking...

Radiohead's music is juz too too depressing... It has started to affect my emotion... Gotta stop listening to it for the time being... Dowan to feel down all the time for no reason...

Cool eh? Kinda freaky too... Maybe I'll try to paste it somewhere at my template... Hopefully it's not too disturbing... =P

Following a suggestion by a fren, the midi in my blog is removed to prevent annoyance... N since I'm slowly but steadily becoming an anime fan, I've posted a link to a good anime review site on the links section: The Anime Review. Anyone that is interested in anime should check the site out... Quite a decent one... I may even add an Anime sites section in the future... Well, we'll see... >=)

Spent one whole week downloaded the Paranoid Android MTV... n this is wat I got?! JUNK!!! VULGAR!!! DISTURBING!!! YUCKY!!! Oh can't believe how stoopid I am to download it... ARGH... no more MTVs downloading until I'm sure it's good stuff!!! >=(

I've been downloading some music with Kazaa Lite lately, n this music keep haunting my head... It's one of the most beautiful music I've heard. The tune is incredibly simple, and u can hum it after the 1st listening. The lyrics are quite meaningful too... Simple, sincere n lovely song... Easily one of my favourite songs!

Walking After You
Foo Fighters

Tonight I'm tangled in my
Blanket of clouds
Dreaming aloud
Things just won't do without you
Matter of fact
I'm on your back, I'm on your back
I'm on your back

If you walk out on me
I'm walking after you

If you'd accept surrender
I'll give up some more
Weren't you adored?
I cannot be without you
Matter of fact
I'm on your back, I'm on your back
I'm on your back

If you walk out on me
I'm walking after you

Another heart is cracked in two
I'm on your back, I'm on your back
I'm on your back

Lost a blog entry... gotta retype... Sheesh...

Well, surprise surprise, the dog is back!!! It juz appeared out of nowhere when I returned home... Boy am I glad to see it!!! I first spotted its beautiful wagging tail, n I'm like... Can it be?! It took me awhile to recognized it, for it looks different somehow... Thinner, n the eyes were downcast n like -_- rather than the big cheerful ones I knew... Well, glad that it did not suffer a cruel fate. Thank God!!!

Went to Pyramid with my cousin (again... hehe) to watch Darkness... Any my, it is a HORRIBLY PRETENTIOUS MOVIE. Copy stuffs from The Sixth Sense n The Shining, flimsy plot, shallow n boring characters, mediocre actings, poor script, confusing n dun make any sense... Wat a waste of my time... 1.5 stars out of 5.

Well, confirmed all my mid-term results adi: Biology- 97%, Economics- 95%, Physics-85%... There's a BIG gap between Physics n the other 2... Sigh... Must improve the mark for it in my 2nd term... Nonetheless, I'm very happy with Bio n Econs!!!

Woke up from my nap, look at the food on the table... N lost me appetite... Ate a few mouthful of rice with fish... N I stopped... Can't eat it any longer... Not my taste... Then an idea sparked... Y not tried Ramly burger?! Kenny recommends it... N I haven't tried it b4... So off I go, a 5 minutes drive to a condo, the closest Ramly burger stall I knew of (I juz found out about its existence few days ago actually) Ordered the burger, wait for 5 minutes, off home...

When I unwrapped the cover... Hah!!! I know adi!!! I ate it b4!!! During primary skool!!! Juz that I dunno it's called Ramly burger!!! Well, it's a very refreshing change from McDonalds n Burger King... Taste very home-made-ish, if u get wat I mean... Unlike those big corporations' product, which tasted so... processed... So ends my 1st taste of Ramly burger... NOT!!! >=)

Yawn... I'm so bored n tired now... Currently inside the computer lab within the library... Let's recount back yesterday.. I mean today's early morning experience...

I can't sleep... Suffering from shock overdose... Asha, Shangri-La, Nike shoes, new set of shirts, Kenny going suicidal... Gosh... Went out of my house to take a stroll at 3.30 am in the morning... The air felt like as if it's about to rain... Windy n humid... Being shirtless, I felt extremely comfortable... Until it started to drizzle... Figuring that someone may thought that a madman is wondering around early in the morning (or late at nite, if u wish) without his shirt on, I went back to my room... Yet still, I can't sleep... Insomnia...

Walked to the hall to read my Bible and do some revision on Econs... At 5 am, I went back to the room, lay myself on the bed, n forced myself to sleep... It worked this time... Too bad it's only 1 n a half hour rest... Feeling gloomy the next morning for no reasons... Econ test at 2nd period summore... Guess I gotta buy myself some sleeping pills... Dowan to feel gloomy n depressed for no reasons...
Season = Spring
You're Most Like The Season Spring ...

Fresh faced, with a young outlook on life - you
smile at the world and expect it to smile back
at you. You're mostly a bubbly, fun - innocent
person. Described as cute possibly. However,
you're a little naive about things and tend to
be a little too trustworthy.
As the first season, It makes you the youngest -
and so most immature - but people are inclined
to look out for and protect you.

Well done... You're the most fun of the seasons :)

?? Which Season Are You ??
brought to you by Quizilla

I'm all 4 seasons actually... It all depends on my mood... My personal favourite would be Autumn... Kinda reminded me of the Elves of Middle Earth, fading away...

It's a happy day
I praise God for the weather
It's a happy day
I'm living it for my Lord
It's a happy day
And things are gonna get better
I'm leaving each day
By the promises in God's Word

Today is an unusually GREAT Sunday... Have lunch at Shangri La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur... The hotel is juz BEAUTIFUL... Easily the most beautiful hotel I've seen... The design is juz so interesting... The food is SUPERB...Ranging from fried mee, to dim sum, to oysters and baby lobsters, to wasabi, to cakes n ice creams... But something even better happened... Well, while eating, I noticed a bunch of ppl who really look out of place... Punkish hairstyle, female smokers, tattooed arm... But there's this one girl who really look VERY familiar... It was not until I finished my meal, when I walked past the bunch of ppl, that I heard THE voice... The unmistakable unique voice... EX-CHANNEL [V] VJ, ASHA GILL!!! AAAAAAAHHHHH!!!! I turn n look, n I saw IT'S REALLY HER!!!! She look kinda different without her makeup... but IT IS HER!!! Juz to confirm it, I keep walking past the table... Asha was smoking n chatting with her pals... ASHA... at the same restaurant with me!!!

I soon told all of my relatives about her presence... No one seemed impressed... Sheesh... That's one girl who's known all over Asia, and they're juz so... so... ignorant bout her!!! My mind was racing then... Should I ask for her autograph?? But she's no longer a VJ... Could it make her sad or mad if I reminded her of her past job?? Maybe I should juz gave her privacy... So I end up did nothing... No more then 5 minutes away from the hotel, I regretted my foolish choice... I mean, wat is there to lose if I ask for her autograph? NOTHING!!! Oh Thomas u fool!!! >=( Now I'll regret it for the rest of my life... :'-( It's a chance of a lifetime... and I let it slipped... SOB... I've learned my lesson anyway... Seize the oppurtunity!!! Some of them only come once in life... I let them slipped!!! Sigh...

Around 5.30 pm, I went for a haircut at the usual place I go to, Hi-Touch Saloon at Berkeley Garden... It's supposed to be closed at 5pm, a the hairstyler was finishing with a few patrons... But since I'm a frequent customer, she let me in... Phew... About time I trim the forest on my head... I'm juz so used to her service... I mean, she cut my her since Form 1... 6 years lo... Heehee... After that go for a swim... Ahhhh... Nice relaxing evening... >=)

At nite, went to Bukit Raja Shopping Mall... Bought a set of nice clothes... with mum's money!! Happy me!! I also saw a pair of Nike shoes that still haunts my mind now... It's GORGEOUS... Looks like a sports shoe, but made of leather... And there's this neat shiny plastic thingie that actually looks kinda like a high-tech-metal... RM 450... SOB... It's juz too too expensive... But I can't get it out of my head now... The shoe is the most beautiful I've ever seen... Modern, yet contempory... Stylish, yet not overdone... Beautiful, but $$$... Awwww... Maybe I'll buy it with my salary I got from teaching... Ya... maybe... I'll think about it...

I haven't seen the dog outside my house for days... Guess it must have been captured... or worse, eaten... Dunno... Funny, I wish it to be gone juz a few months ago... Now that it is not here... Kinda can't get used to it... And it's also very sad to think that it may be slaughtered... Sigh... Watevea u r, dog, hope life is better there... Unless u're dead... Sigh... Guess it's goodbye then...

Watched Gosford Park today at Astro's Star Movie Channel... I've been longing to watch that movie since I've 1st heard about it last year (being a fan of period plays or movies - That is, costumes n culture of earlier era), but I guess it's banned in M'sia for some reasons... Well, I expect it to be something like the boardgame Cluedo, but it's very different... The movie is all about characters... The whole movie is character-driven... There's practically no plot at all, but more of a characters studies... Many will find it boring, but I find it very engaging, interseting n amusing... Maggie Smith as Constance is so sarcastically funny think she should have won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress instead of Jennifer Cornelly in A Beautiful Mind...

The movie begins we've a bunch of upper class British bugeoise gather at Gosford Park (a mansion) for a hunting party. Most of them brought along their manservants and maids, causing the mansion to swell with people... The class difference is shown very clearly in the movie... The upper classes are mostly snobbish n even b*tchy... The workers are... well, in another world... Very hard to explain in few words... Throughout the 2 and a half hour, we get to know the characters gradually... And my, there are really many many characters that the viewers have to get to know!!! Around 20 or so... I'm very confused in the beginning, but after 2 hours or so, I get to know them better... In fact, I even CARED for some of them... A good movie indeed... Juz sadly, after the film is over, I juz can't see any STORY at all... It's juz a bunch of characters under the same house, how they interact, how chain reactions lead to the uncovery of secrets... There are juz so so many secrets of the past in many of the characters... Indeed very impressive... 4.5 stars out of 5!!!

...Still waiting for a good movie... The last good movie I've seen in the cinema was... The Matrix Reloaded... But fear not... As the end of the year approaches, more Oscar-worthy movies will be shown... Oooo I can't wait!!! But 1st, Identity... Wonder when I can watch that...

I've juz heard news from my mum that my ex-secondary school, SMJK (C) Kwang Hua, is requesting for PREMIUM status... Man that principle is dang ambitious... Mum heard that from the PIBG (Parents-Teachers Association) Meeting of my ex primary school, SRJK (C) Kong Hoe. Well, they dun take it as a good thing, for this would mean that the weaker students will not be admitted to the school... Currently, 80+ students in the primary school are applying for Kwang Hua, but only 60 or so will be accepted... So they are very worry now...

For u guys who dun understand y so many students are applying for Kwang Hua, the reason is bcos Kwang Hua is 1 of the 2 only goverment school in Klang that emphasizes the use of the Chinese Language. In other words, Chinese Language is a official subject in our school, and it's compulsory for students to take the subject in PMR n SPM. The periods of Chinese language are inserted among the other subjects throughout the week, unlike usual goverment school where students who are interested in taking Chinese have to stay back after school every Friday, and classes will only commence if there are 15 students minimal in that school who wanna take it... There's a sad true story in a school where 14 students wanna take Chinese... They beg for students who r interested in taking Chinese to enter their school so they can have a Chinese class... I dunno bout their outcome though... Worst, the students got to find the teachers by themselves... All the Chinese teachers in our school has to work extra time at Friday... N they aren't paid in time too... I can't help by felt disgusted on such persecution... >=(

Anyway, if Kwang Hua is to become a premium school, big problems will arise among the Chinese primary school students... But I think I kinda support that move... Not that I'm proud, but I kinda despice most of the students in the last few classes... Not bcos they're slow or dun do well in academics, mind u, but their unwillingness to even TRY... They're like a bunch of useless losers wasting their precious time in school doing nothing but sleep or lepak or wateva... There are so many, SO MANY students every year who wanna enter Kwang Hua failed to do so due to lack of space, n these guys wasted them... Sheesh... The implementation of Kwang Hua as a Premium School would cause more competition, n the weaker ones will be kept out... When I say weaker, I mean those who have no intention to study... Survival of the fittest... It's the way of the 11 years of my past study life, which shaped us into sharp n competent students, but unfairly labelled by many as kiasu... No wonder many students from Chinese school fare better... They've been through so much competition... For those that label ppl kiasu, u guys have take things too easily...

Well, wateva the outcomes, I do hope Kwang Hua could be recognized as a Premium school eventually... It has the potential... As long as incompetent students that do not even exert any effort in their studies are keep out... It sounds harsh, I know, but the fittest survive... That's the law of this world...

The atmosphere was intense... Everyone were anticipating, nervous, anxious... on their mid-term results for Biology... Well, someone spoiled my fun by telling me my mark earlier, but I tried my best to remain skeptical... Dowan to push my hope so high only to get super disappointed later... Then Mrs Joanne pass us the papers on our results, with student no. on it instead of our names... I tried to get a hold of myself n wait for my turn to look at it... But it wasn't long b4 I asked the guys behind me to tell me my marks by telling them my student number... And IT is revealed... I GOT 97.1% FOR MY BIOLOGY MID-TERM RESULT!!! THE HIGHEST IN CPU!!! YYYYYEEEEAAAAA!!!! =D =D =D

I was so so happy then I dunno how to react... There were people who asked me (full of disbelief) "U got 97.1%?!". Aiyoh... I really dunno how to react la... Am I suppose to shyly confirm the statement with a slight nod, or a proud "Ya la. I clever one ma..."?!?! Dunno oso... Ends up with a lame "yaaa..." Then ppl will start spreading "Thomas got 97.1%!!!" N I'm like... "Dun like that la... After I become proud or sumthing..." Sheesh, so awkward la... <=)

Ahha, see? Juz as I've said... My day will come... and it did!!! I wanna thank God for making this possible... Without his comfort and love during my depression "period", I dunno how I could "survive" through all the ordeals... I hope that my results could somehow glorify God... Dowan to glorify myself only all the time... <=/

Yawn... I'm so so tired now... Can't really enjoy my "success"... "Paranoid Android" is still haunting my head... Can't believe such song actually exist in our time... A modern classic, a masterpiece comparable to the Classical music geniuses such as Mozart and Beethoven... Am I exxagerating here?! Hmmm... Dun think so... It really is that good, once u let it sink into u... Very hard to "digest" the song in the beginning... But it grows on u after each listening...

I've found the definite guitar masterpiece... Radiohead's Paranoid Android... It completely blows me away... Wow... I really dunno how to describe it... The guitars... Espeacially during the climax of that song... Mind-blowing... I'm speechless...

Went with my cousin to Sunway Pyramid after classes... U noticed I've been to many places with my cousin lately. He has returned from India for a month or so, and so we spend his "precious time" here "exploring around"... Heehee... Been to Subang Parade, Sunway Pyramid, IMU, and a few popular restaurants... Hahaha, he must have been enjoying himself here... But still it certainly must be too short for him here... Studying in India is really tough indeed...

Anyway, this is the 1st time I stepped into Pyramid since the holidays after 1st semester... I went there with Beng n Jayne there... Juz a few days after I started this blog, if I remember correctly... And my, how much has it changed!!! Well, ok, maybe I'm a bit exxagerating here, but from wat I remember 3 months ago, there ain't no shops at the skating level, and u have to pay to juz go down the stairs... The shops there are kinda cute, being so tiny... But we dun really spent a lot of time exploring there... except for the one I longed to visit... The anime shop!!!

It's quite far from the stair, but eventually we found it... Lo and behold, Anime Paradise!! I quickly look for the VCD I've been searching for a long long time... The Rurouni Kenshin's OVAs... After much search, I'VE FOUND IT!!! Betrayal and Reflection!! But I can't find the 1st OVA, Trust though... Nevertheless, I was very very excited... but at the same time, has this feeling of dread creeping inside me... To confirm mu suspicion, I look all over the cover... But found no mention of the one I fear... Then I ask my cousin to ask the cashier... My suspicion proved true... They are DVDs!!! NNNNNNNOOOOOOO!!!! Not now after I've found it!!! Sheesh... Guess I must get a DVD player of PS2 soon... Or continue my search for the OVAs VCD!!!

After much exploration through Fantasy Music Valley and Speedy, I've found the album I wanted, OK Computer, by Radiohead... but not in the format I wanted!!! There's only CDs for that album, not a single cassette!!! Argh... Guess I have no choice then... Bye bye, RM 44... <=( Thus I got my hand for the 2nd original music CD I've ever bought (If I remember correctly)... The 1st was Alanis Morisette's Jagged Little Pill... Interestingly, both album was produced in 1997... 6 years ago... Wow... Long, huh?

The album is very different from the next one they produced, Kid A at 2000... While Kid A has a Techno-ish sound, the music from OK Computer are mostly Rock, and I must say they made good use of guitars... Paranoid Android is really really cool... I dowan to repeat wat I said in the beginning again, but u guys should check it out!!! It's a MASTERPIECE!!! I repeat, a MASTERPIECE!!! Download it, ASAP!!! PARANOID ANDROID, by RADIOHEAD!!!

I've heard this song by Evanescense a few months ago, but never really pay much attention to the lyrics... Now that I read it again, I find it to be quite nice... So melancholic, so sad... Here's the lyrics:

My Immortal

I'm so tired of being here
Suppressed by all my childish fears
And if you have to leave
I wish that you would just leave
'Cause your presence still lingers here
And it won't leave me alone

These wounds won't seem to heal
This pain is just too real
There's just too much that time cannot erase

When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears
When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears
I held your hand through all of these years
But you still have... all of me

You used to captivate me
By your resonating light
Now I'm bound by the life you left behind
Your face it haunts
My once pleasant dreams
Your voice it chased away
All the sanity in me

These wounds won't seem to heal
This pain is just too real
There's just too much that time cannot erase

When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears
When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears
I held your hand through all of these years
But you still have... all of me

I've tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone
But though you're still with me I've been alone all along

When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears
When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears
I held your hand through all of these years
But you still have... all of me

You're cluedo. You're mysterious and very sneaky, and
you take a while to figured things out, but along the
way you have heaps of laughs and tonnes of fun.
[edited by Thomas.. many language errors.. :p]

What board game are you? (interesting results)
brought to you by Quizilla

Hahaha... Must be influenced from reading Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes stories... I still have the Cluedo board game in my room, though many items are lost... Kind of a suspenseful game, if u're very imaginative...Is Dr. Black murdered by Miss Scarlet at the Ballroom with a Rope, or by Colonel Mustard with a revolver at the lounge? For no apparent reasons, Mrs White often ends up as the murderer... I was actually kinda scared whenever I look at the card with her face... She must be a very angry and revengeful woman!! =3

First of all, Happy Birthday to my bro, Chong Ian!! ;) And now, Thanksgiving!!

Phew... Today is indeed a day of relief... Relieved for all the subjects I took this semester: Economics, Physics, Biology. First off, the newpaper analysis and presentation papers were returned to us, marked. I've been assuming that I wouldn't get high marks for my presentation, but the marks were indeed a surprise and GREAT relief to me... Out of 5 for both, I got 4.9 for my newspaper analysis and 4.7 for my presentation. Wow... To be frank, I dun think I actually deserved 4.7 for my presentation, since I sincerely think that I suck in that presentation (or perhaps the standard of a GOOD presentation is too high in my mind... Hmmm...) Thank God for such a lenient teacher as Mr. Kuah! It's quite sad that many students dun appreciate him... Sigh... He's quite a good teacher...

Next, Physics. Today's my turn for TAP (Teacher-Advisor Programme), and Mr. Gillick, my Physics teacher, happens to be my teacher-advisor. Well, he told me that my performance has been good throughout the 1st term, and the mark he recorded earlier (73+% I think... Really shocking for me then) was a mistake... Phew... He also told me my REAL mid-term mark should be around 90%, so thank God indeed!!! Physics is my weakest subject this semester, and I do hope that it will not pulled down my mark...

Finally, Biology. Kausar, who got among the highest score for the last Bio test in her class, told me that this time around, ppl who achieve high mark for the last test dun do well for this time, and vice versa for the students who dun perform well for the last test. Then a scarier news came from a fren of mine... Ben Hong, a student famed for his good results, got only 23 out of 30... That's really shocking to me... N by the time Mrs. Joanne gave us the paper, I was so anxious that my whole body went limp... By when my name was called n I took my paper, I can see from her expression that I did well in it. I was, indeed, bursting with joy when I found out I got 29 out of 30!!! Wohoo!! Praise God!! That 1 mark lost was, in the beginning, not very justifiable to me... But after Mrs. Joanne explained the reason for it, I accepted it contently... It's indeed logical for that mark deduction.

So, THANK YOU GOD for such a wonderful day, and guiding me through hard times!!! =D I am indeed very glad now, for I know my mid-term results will be good enough to almost 100% guarantee me a seat in IMU. I also wanna thank Beng Beng for being such an inspiration for me! I've indeed improved a lot in my studies since last semester. Again, if u're reading this, Beng, thank u!! Hope u fare well in ur studies with all the other geniuses at KYMS!!! >=)

'The courtesy of your hall is somewhat lessen of late, Theoden son of Thengel,' said Gandalf.

Went to IMU today at 3 pm. Reached Bukit Jalil after about 15 minutes drive. Once me, my ma and my cousin enter the International Medical University (IMU) building, cold gasts of wind blow onto us... We were directed to the reception office by the guard at the car park, but when we reached there, we were directed to the payment office after we mentioned about "application". I was kinda surprised (and unpleased by the lack of warm reception...

When we reached the payment office, the clerk there wasn't very infomative at all... She could only answer a few of my questions, but when I ask for the form, she was quick enough to told us the application fee was RM 100... Sheesh... When I "pestered" her with more questions, she directed me to the students' affair office pula... Oh btw I met T.J. juz outside the payment office... Wearing formal clothes... Looks kinda weird on him... Perhaps it's juz bcos I nv seen him in formal clothes b4... He also mentioned he juz drank some heavy stuff... Can see by the look of his face and ears... Though his face ain't so red anymore then, his ears were... worse then mine when I blushed... Tomato red... >=)

To the Students' Affair Office I went... And once I saw the lady in charge of that department, I knew she wasn't a friendly one... She's yound, in her early-twenties, and has the I-despice-simple-people look... I hesitate to ask her anything, since I have the intuitivefeeling that I'm sure she will make my questions sound stupid with her answer. But after much pestering from my cousin, I asked 2 questions... Both were answered with subtle sarcasm... Sheesh... I dislike asking stuff from these kind of ppl... Well, anyway, I got wat I wanted... And so I went home... Only to remember on the way back I forgot to ask for the hostel form... Shucks...

My cousin told us that the reception indeed was very cold compared to last time when he came, a few years back... He was warmly welcomed, talked with, and all his questions were also answered by the ppl in charged of the reception... Indeed, so far, I have only negative things to say about IMU... Bad bad impression... But I've learned not to trust on first impression adi... Well, so we'll see after I entered IMU...

Andúril - reforged by elvensmiths from the shards of Narsil - is perhaps the most famous swords in the Lord of the Rings. This United Cutlery replica will be released in November 2003.

Elrond said of the legendary blade: "The man who can wield the power of this sword can summon to him an army more deadly than any that walk this earth."

The inscription down the length of the blade on both sides is in the Tolkien language of Quenya, written in the runes of Eregion, that say "Nányë Andúril i né Narsil i macil Elendilo. Lercuvanten i máli Mordórëo". This translates to "I am Andúril who was Narsil, the sword of Elendil. Let the thralls of Mordor flee me."

The blade inscription features runes framed by stylised symbols of the Sun and the Moon, which represent Anarion and Isildur, the sons of Elendil, and seven symbolic stars that represent Elendil, who died wielding Narsil in battle against Sauron.

Inscribed on the pommel are runes in the Elven language of Sindarin that say Narsil essenya, macil meletya; Telchar carneron Navarotesse. This translates to "Narsil is my name, a mighty sword; Telchar made me in Nogrod."

AAHHH!!! So beautiful!!! I really love the Cirth runes inscribed on the blade!!! The Tengwar runes at the pommel of the sword are well made too!!! It's not so clear in this image due to the restricted size of the image, but it looks better in the original 791x3648 image!!! Click here to check it out!! Cool design and well crafted!!! A worthy sword for King Elessar Telcontar indeed!!!

I juz hate LONG holidays... Wasted away doing nothing... Today's the last day of holiday... Hooray!!! I'm doomed!!! Haven't STARTED ANY of my assignments... I'm so thrilled... Thank God this is the last LONG holiday in CPU... Found info for my Econs assignment adi... But haven't got the thesis statement... Brainstorming now...

Holiday's over... Yea!!! More challenges await me!!! Tests, quizzes, n such... Hooray!!! As Sherlock Holmes said, "It saved me from ennui. Alas! I already feel it closing in upon me. My life is spent in one long effort to escape the commonplaces of existence. These little problems help me to do so." My "little problems" are academic challenges... Without them, life is dull... I eagerly anticipate the challenges of the 2nd term of the 2nd semester... Come now, starting with the blasted Econs assignment!! >=)

Oh by the way, I destroyed the phone downstairs... I threw it on the floor in my anger... Mum took the laptop away, I destoryed the phone... Kinda sad... The phone is kinda convenient... Well, guess my anger really needed to be released then... A destroyed phone is better than someone get hurt, rite? Must learn to manage my anger someday...

Went accompany my grandma at 1 pm today... She's quite nervous... Then to the hospital at 2... Chit chat and prayed in the ward room till 4.30 pm... Many of my relativs came... 3 uncles, my aunt, my cousin, n me, of course. Reverend Hong also came to pray for my grandma!! It's not so hard, since the church is juz beside the hospital!! After grandma entered the operation theatre, we have a lite meal at the hospital's cafeteria. The food and drinks ain't good, but the chat were quite amusing... This is the 1st time I really mixed with my uncles n aunt and talk about adult stuff... Foreign food, oversea countries, surgery (1 of my uncle is a specialist, and my aunt a pharmacist), education etc. Really amusing... Guess I'm stepping into the adult world, eh? <=/

Grandma came out from the operation theatre at 7pm, in a drowsy state. The operation is a success!! Her cornea of the left eye has been transplanted!! Praise God!! But there's one thing she dun know... Shhhh... If u're reading this, u're sworn to secrecy... The cornea that has been transplanted to her left eye... is from a real human!!! Taken after he or she (I dunno) is died!!! Cadaverous donation!!! Kinda scary, dun u think? Imagine looking at the world around u through someone else's (dead summore) cornea... She must never know... or she will be seriously freak out!!

Ans so I left the hospital at 7.30... So 1 hour at grandma's house, 5 at hospital... 5 + 1 = 6 hours!! And that's not all!! I came back home and rested for about 30 minutes, and off I go to Andalas Corner beside Taman Rakyat Klang for a dinner with my CG members... Chin Seng is leaving tomorrow for Sheffield, UK... Sigh... One less CG member... Then Yann Kai and Ping Yin... Wa... All flew oversea lo... Anyway, it's time well spent. Really enjoyed having fellowship with them. And nice dinner too! Black Pepper Chicken Chop + Mushrooms and Orange Juice... Yummie!! ;)

Wow... wat a day... Very tired now... <=/

My inner child is ten years old today

My inner child is ten years old!

The adult world is pretty irrelevant to me. Whether
I'm off on my bicycle (or pony) exploring, lost
in a good book, or giggling with my best
friend, I live in a world apart, one full of
adventure and wonder and other stuff adults
don't understand.

How Old is Your Inner Child?
brought to you by Quizilla

Ooooo... Me 10 years old!! So cute and naive!!! ^_^

Visit my grandma juz now... The 'official' reason for the visit was to celebrate the Mooncake Festival, but the 'real' reason was to accompany my grandma... She will be having an eye operation tomorrow... Since one of her eye has already lost sight, she's very worried 'bout the other eye... And know's she's suffering intense pain on that eye, that's y she must undergo the operation to prevent that eye from losing its function...

After a light but tasty meal, my grandma went to her bedroom to have her rest, while my mum and aunt accompany her. Then my uncle asked if I wanna pray for my grandma with him... In front of my grandma!!! Of course I won't let go this oppurtunity, but there is unease... My mum and grandma are not Christians!!! It's perfectly OK for me to pray by myself for her operation and health, but to do that in front of her... Kinda uneasy lo... Furthermore, I dunno wat my mum's reaction will be... But I guess those ain't stuff that I need to worry about!

My bro began praying in Mandarin, then my uncle in Hokkien, and me in English... I'm only used to talking to God in English!!! -_-" Again, my prayer was the most brief... It has always been like that, even in CG... But that's my style, I guess... Straight to the point! ^_^ Grandma was quite happy that we prayed for her, but mum... I dunno lo... But I am glad that we've prayed in front of them... Kinda like a declaration of my faith... or sumthing like that... <=) I wonder how long b4 I could be baptized... I'll be waiting patiently for that day! ^_-

Went to BLK at Klang Parade, look around, and found the game I've been searching for a long time... Syberia!!! It's an Adventure game, think The Longest Journey and the Monkey Island series. Since there's only 2 CDs for this game, I spent quite some time looking for a decent 1 CD game... Cos there's offer for 3 CDs in one buy! I search long n hard, but they're fruitless labours... So I end up buying juz that game, rushed home, n installed it. The main menu looks great! So I click "New Game"... The screen went black... Then boom! I'm back to Windows... AAAAHHHH!!!! I experienced this for countless games!!!! This means my com dun meet the requirements of da game!!! AAAHHH!!! Yet another RM 15 wasted!!! I dun care!!! I'll be going to my cousin's house to play da game tomolo!!!

Oh by the way, me n my bro did a very funny thing juz now... We went to McDonalds at Klang Parade for dinner, and since the both of us luv cheese in our McChicken, we brought 2 piece of cheese along in our pockets!!! NO KIDDING!!! Stuck them in our pockets, n walk for 5 minutes there!!! By the time we reached there, the cheese has grown soft and kinda half-melted!!! Haha... It's one of my crazy idea... Heehee... >=) McChicken with cheese is delicious!!!

I have enough!!! I will make my stand clearly now!!! I am not, I repeat, I AM NOT OBSESSED WITH J.R.R. TOLKIEN'S WORKS!!! Appreciate and admire are better terms!!! Here's a few example of signs os obsession in the US during Tolkien's time:

...Lapel badges began to appear bearing slogans such as 'Frodo Lives', 'Gandalf for President', and 'Come to Middle-Earth'... Members of fan clubs held 'hobbit picnics' at which they ate mushrooms and drank cider, and dressed up as characters from the stories... Among the graffiti that could be seen on American walls was: 'J.R.R. Tolkien is Hobbit-forming'...

And these from the non-US... Dancer seen bearing the lidless eye of Sauron on his shield (at Vietnam), Frodo Society formed (At North Borneo), Students at Warwick University renamed the Ring Road around their campus 'Tolkien Road', and a 'psychedelic magazine' entitled Gandalf's Garden was issued with the avowed objective 'to bring beautiful people together'.

So, wat's Tolkien's reaction on these obsessions? He referred to the widespread enthusiasm for his books as 'my deplorable cultus', and here's his statement after been asked by a reporter if he was pleased by the enthusiasm of the young Americans: 'Art moves them and they don't know why they've been moved by and they get quite drunk on it. Many young Americans are involved in the stories in a way that I'm not.'

Ahha! See? These fanatics don't know what moved them, by I do!!! It's the sheer grandeur, beauty, heroism and tragedy of Tolkien's stories that moved me!!! And though I often talk about Tolkien and his works, I never wear a hobbit costumes b4 or dye my hair blond and tied like a ponytail as an elf!! (Eventhough only one elf I knew so far that actually has blond hair in the book... And he did not even appear in the movies!!) Yesss, I do talk like Smeagol sometimess, but it'ss juz for fun! Isn't it, preciouss? Oops... Nvm, u got my point! ;)

Therefore, I will make my stand clearly that I'm not OBSESSED with Tolkien or his works. But I do really admired his works, juz as many admired Shakespeare's and quote from his works!!! I will tolerate no more finger pointing at me for being Tolkien-obsessed anymore from anyone!!! U hear me, Sebastian?! >=(

Sent my sis to airport yesterday... She went for a trip to Korea with my relatives... Sheesh... She's almost half my age, but have been through more countries then I have!!! She's been to China, Vietnam, Japan and Korea now, while I never get the chance!!! We've been to Australia and Thailand in the same trips, but not Singapore... Oooo that lucky girl!!! Jealous jealous... Heehee...

Went to Subang Parade with my cousin n bro... Sigh... Can't get the book I want again!!! I almost bought it at Kinokuniya then, but changed my mind in the last minute bcos I was thinking of renting one at MPH Subang Jaya... Turns out there's no such book!!! Sheesh... wat a waste... Maybe we'll go to MidValley tomolo to check it out. My cousin was dead bored anyway... Nothing to do since he returned from India. He really spent a lot... Paying all the toll fees, food and also bought quite some books n PC games... If we're going anyway tomorrow, it's my pay then... Dowan to feel guilty about it... Heehee... Bought Travis' The Invisible Band... Got some really nice tune... Maybe I'll like it even more after I've getting used to their style...

I'm getting more n more nasty and bitter recently... And the weird thing is, I kinda like it... Haven't felt like this since a few years ago... It has somehow triggered by someone, whom I will not mention here, since he deserves no attention, and I dowan to hear his crap juz in case he reads this. I'm also constantly in a bad mood too... This is going to last really long... Unless I hear some apology from the one who started it... I'm waiting...

Now for a more cheerful note!!! Finally went to KLCC on Sunday morning!!! Yea!!! To prevent any disappointments, I've reserve the book I wnted for so long, The Letters of J.R.R. Tolkien through telephone at Saturday nite... As usual, KLCC is burstling with ppl!!! But I dun really stop by to enjoying the "scene" as I usually did... I rushed to Kinokuniya Bookstore!!! It's really a paradise to all book lovers!!! And I got the book I want!!! Actually, they gave me quite a scare... I went to the reservation counter, and bcos there were too many books that ppl reserved for, they couldn't find the book I reserved!!! Luckily they did found it after 5 minutes or so. RM 60.33... Really $$$!! But I buy it anyway... Waited too long for it!!

I also bought Blood: The Last Vampire too! Kinda of a short anime... Just 43 minutes!!! But the visuals are cool!!! Really beautiful... though there's excessive violence, but I'm immune to that... Fallout has far more blood and gore... The only thing I really dislike is a brief nudity scene that is totally unnecessary... It's juz a dead body anyway!!! Sheesh... And then there's really a lot of space for character background and a more solid plot... Wat a waste... But still, the visual itself is sufficient to let someone overlook the flaws!!! Neat anime... I'll watch it again soon! >=)

Overall, this really is a great trip!!! Rarely spent so much time with my parents... Hopefully there will be a next time soon!

Juz finished watching the final episode of Taken... Well, wat could I say? Quite good series overall, and a very emotional climax... But in trems of idea? Too too simple... Heck, even I can come up with an idea like that!!! Aliens who share similar DNA to humans, but highly evolved (Take it as a fiction, ok? I noe there ain't no evolution... MACROevolution, that is!), having no concience and emotions, but a singularity, a oneness among themselves... They ability to feel and knowing good n evil has gone as they evolved (stupid idea, by the way), and the meeting with humans stirs up their dormant conscience and emotion, thus started a grand experiment, in hope of merging the advanced intellect and mind power of the aliens and the conscience/ emotions of humans... Thus Allie was "produced", through 3 generation of genetic selection (i.e. selective mating... Think wat Gregory Mendel did to the peas... Wat we learn in Bio during form 5) Quite a simple idea and story, but under the helm of the legendary Steven Spielberg, I must comment that the movie is well done.

But wat really strike me in the series is the final "conversation" between Dr. Wakeman and Mary Crawford... Can't believe Dr. Wakeman is my favourite character in the series, even more than Allie!!! He was kinda like a villain character in the beginning... But as the series progress, we slowly understand more n more about him... All he wants is juz witness the historical event of Allie, not trying to stop the aliens like Mary... Mary has this obsession to get Allie in wateva means, bcos she felt she has the responsibility of handling her legacy from her grandfather well... The two of them are lovers, but Mary kill Dr. Wakeman in the end, bcos she is unable to LET GO... Unlike Dr. Wakeman who juz wanna be a spectator, she wanted to be the hunter, the superior... The "conversation" was actually a recorded playing of Dr. Wakeman made b4 he died! He's already expected he will be killed by Mary!! It's a very sad scene... "We could have been happy together, I know that... If only you would LET GO... I know you loved me..." Sigh... So Mary finally learn her lesson... After much grief...

I was reminded of many characters then who suffered similar fate with Mary... Xar from The Death Gate Cycle, Gollum from The Lord of the Rings, Pharaoh in Exodus of the Bible, and even Darth Vader in Star Wars... Xar could have save his ppl if he would gave up his power crazy ambition. Gollum could have redeemed himself if he would to forget about the Ring. Pharaoh could have prevent much grief to Egypt if he would to let the Israelites go free. And Darth Vader could have survived if he let go the hatred and anger in him before he brought Luke to the Emperor... And so, it comes down to me again...

Shouldn't I let go all that I'm striving for? I'm so weary, so so weary of it, but why do I still keep on hanging to it? Many times I've been touched by the Holy Spirit, begging me, begging myself, to let go of my vain attempt to be the best, to achieve... something, anything!!! But I juz keep on with my old ways... I know I shouldn't go on like this, but still I drive on, moved by nothing... There were moments when I juz dun understand why I keep on behaving like this since I know I should not... But I do understand actually... I lack support... I really do appreciate supportive friends with me, ppl who could assist me when I'm in need of help... But I can find none at college, where I spent most of my time (excluding my home) at... The only one that is really surportive of me is rarely by my side, and I could only meet him once in a while... Sigh... It's hard to do this alone... Well, I'm not alone actually, for God is with me... But I do appreciate a human companion, one that will serve as a constant reminder... I haven't found one yet... Sigh... But I do sincerely hope all of this will ends... I dowan to rely on myself any longer... Must... depend... on... God...

I'm trying hard to focus my thoughts now... It's running amok!!! Ok, went to CG at Friday nite (5 Sept), and at first I though we're having harmless orange juice for refreshment... It certainly looks like plain orange juice to me... turns out to be a mixture of orange juice AND CARLSBERG!!! N I dun found that out till I have a second cup of it! The mee hoon was really spicy, and since I can't stand spicy food, I sweat a lot and desperately need to drink something to cool it off! And I have to drive home for about 10 km summore!!! I dun really mind much about that, but the host could at least kindly inform us or sumthing... Thank God I make it home safely... But I was slightly giddy then... Not a very comfortable sensation... My mind was kinda like clouded... and my brain felt heavy too!! So this is my 1st drink of alcohol, though very diluted, I must say... It's only one can of Carlsberg in a pail of orange juice sufficient to fill up more than 20 cups!! Well, it's not really my 1st taste actually, since I've ate food cooked with wine b4... But that didn't qualified as drinking, rite? <=)

I was walking back home from the Pasar Malam when I finally see it!!! There's only a moon in the sky... and a bright shining dot... but it's not a star!!! U get it right! It's MARS!!! It's very much like a star, but I know the subtle difference between the appearence of a star and a planet as seen from earth. A star will shimmer or twinkle or flicker in appearence, but planets will shine on without flickering. The light I saw does not flicker, and it's brighter and slightly bigger than the ususal stars too! I'm not sure if I'm seeing an orange tint though... Perhaps it's juz my imagination... But I'm positive it's Mars I saw... Finally! After a month of speculation, I've seen it!!

The holidays are coming soon... The horror... I hope I won't died of boredom... Gotta find some stuff to do for the holidays... Perhaps the ISU... Oh ya. On the Econs presentation, a classmate of mine, Lay Peng (I think... Hope I get the spelling rite) presents incredibly well. She speaks fluently and commands ppl's attention. But the weird thing is, she never ever speaks in class, unless it's questions on the lessons. How can someone who's so quiet, almost anti-social, be so... persuasive in presentations? It's like having Enterprising qualities without Social qualities in Holand's hexagon (See Career Test blog entry). That's indeed a very strange combination... A paradox... Interesting... There's juz so many unique ppl in CPU... Must pay more attention on ppl around me! >=)

I'm just watching a bad dream I'd never wake up from.

Find out what anime bad boy you are.

Spike Spiegel, of Cowboy Bebop... Well, I've watched the entire series in VCDs, and also Cowboy Bebop the movie. It was introduced to me by my cousin, and according to him, it was the no. 1 anime in Japan last year... I also found out that there'a a large fanbase of this anime in the US. It's excessively violent, and also contains sexual elements... Dunno y the heck my cousin introduce to me... Anyway, I dun really like this anime, for I think that it lacks focus... It's basically about a bunch of bounty hunters, each with their own unique past and troubles. The episodes range from comedic to darkly tragic.

Well, Spike earns his living as a bounty hunter, and he's very efficient too. But he has a rotten luck, which is why his meals are always fried green chilli made his partner Jet Black. His fighting style is very graceful, almost like dancing, but incredibly formiddable. He's very laid back, and hates girls, children, and furry animals (all of the 3 ends up in the same ship with him later in the series... poor dude). He was a member of a syndicate once, but later he hope to turn over a new leaf by pretending he's dead (there's no other way he can leave the syndicate), and escapes with his lover Julia... But somehow, his lover disappears... His arch-enemy, Vicious (they happen to be good partners b4), was bitter over Spike for stealing Julia from him, and is constantly hunting him down. When the 2 of them meet (Only thrice in the series)... carnage and destruction follows... yet neither of them win... For they are equally lethal... [SPOILERS!!! Dun read ahead if u dun want to be spoiled!!!] The 2 of them kill each other off in the end in an incredible showdown.

Sheesh!!! It's 2.15 am and I'm making myself Maggie Mee!!! Shouldn't have drank Ice Lemon Tea earlier... Hopefully I'll tire out myself in time... Oh man I'm doom!!! >=(

Juz came back from Bukit Raja Shopping Centre. Finally, I saw what that I've been searching for a long long time... Sherlock Holmes compilation!!! YEA!!! But the bad thing is... There are 4 choices, and each with its pros and cons!!! Dang!!!

Well, 1st off we got the COMPLETE version, which includes everything on Sherlock Holmes that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle has ever written!!! But the bad thing is... It's too wordy and all cramped up!!! I doubt the book can sustains me long enough to enjoy the tales... Too many words cramped in one page!!! With two columns oso!!! Sigh... It was a good deal... RM 43.90 for everything!!! Furthermore, no illustration!!! Yes yes, u can argue that using our imagination is better, but u must know that the description of the scenes in all Sherlock Holmes stories is very detailed, and, to be frank, the author dun do so good in it. J.R.R. Tolkien would have done better!!! >=) But then, he's a linguist, not a mystery writer... So can't compare la!!!

Then we have two separate books that made up the complete version, one with all 56 short stories, the other with 4 novels. It's illustrated, but in very poor quality. But hey, they're COMPLETE!!! Sheesh... Very tempting... RM 29.90 each.

And last but definitely not least, there's this one with one novel and 32 short stories (I think so... not so sure). Of course, by the sound of it, this probably is the inferior one, rite? WRONG!!! It's all taken from the Strand Magazine, a paper in the late 19th Century and early 20th Century (1891-1905)!!! It has a very classic look, and the illustration, although exactly the same as the above mentioned 2 books (they were all from the strand mag), are superior in quality and clarity!!! Sigh... Too bad there's only limited short stories n only one novel... But the most arty among them!!! RM 33.90...

And so, decision time!!! I could have spent an entire hour (probably more) juz deciding which book should I buy, but my mum is in a hurry... So I got to choose fast... First, I discard the complete version one (*wince*), for wat's the point of buying a book that may not sustain ur interest long enough to finish it?! So, OUT! Next, the novels version is out, for I've read 2 of Doyle's Sherlock Holmes novel already, and the short stories are better. So I'm left with the complete short stories version and the arty one... It's a tough choice... and I got so little time!!! In the end, I choose the arty one, since the quality is superior, and the later short stories of Sherlock Holmes aren't so good anyway (The classics one ROCKS!!!) So there I go... Hope I will not regret it... <=)

Well, finally bought Radiohead's album... But not the album I want!!! Actually I was looking for OK Computer, but I can't get it, so I settle with Kid A. Hope it's nice... I haven't sample it. And another thing... I like the Final Fantasy VII midis so much I download all of them!!! 96 midis in total!!! But very small size actualy... Below half a megabyte!!! Great!!! >=) And I'm thinking of playing Aerith's theme in my blog... But it the music saddens me too much... Aerith's purity, beauty, light-heartedness, n ultimately, her sacrifice... Sob... :'-( Well, maybe later... After I'm bored of the Chocobo theme first!!!

Sheesh... I might die of hiccups one day!!! The hiccup attach came first around 5.30 pm... It's mild in the beginning, so I ignore it... Then it slowly became more and more severe, until it my chest started to hurt a little... I drank loads of water then, and it's soon gone... for the time being... The hiccups returns by 10 pm, but soon subdues too... Around 10.30pm, I was hiccuping so badly that my chest felt tight n painful... Not extremely painful, but still very uncomfortable... It last all the way from my grandma's house back to my home, which is around 15 painful minutes... Horrible... By the time I reach home, I rush to the kitchen n drank a whole cup of water... The hiccups are gone... but now my stomach is filled with water!!!

Well, although the hiccups attack is bad this time, it's nothing compared to one I have before... I was eating supper with my family then... We almost finished our meal when the hiccups came... And it's horribly painful... I felt as if my heart is pierced by something everytime I "hic!". In fact, it went on so badly that my family rushed home hurriedly. After I drank loads of water, I started to feel like puking, n I rushed into the toilet. But the only things that came out is a blast of air (with a horrible stench) from my mouth... Then the nightmare finally ended... But the throbbing pain remains long after... Well, hope no more sure severe hiccup attacks occur again!!!

Today is a horrible day... Starts off with a major disappointment... No trip to KLCC!!! Dwang!!! I've been delayed for one whole month!!! My parent were busy with the production project... In a national holiday!!! Sheesh... I told them I'll go myself then, but mum won't let me... Can u believe it?! Heck, I'm 18!!! It's juz a matter of taking a bus to Klang Bus Stop, then Central Market, then switch to LRT to KLCC!!! Ok, it's a bit tedious, but it's perfectly no problem for me!!! Wat is there to worry about?! Sigh... But I'm not interested to argue with my mum... It's a no-win situation... <=( And so, I wasted my day sleeping n sleeping... I've slept from 12pm to 5pm!!! And even now, at 12.15am, I've yet to complete my assignments! Guess I got to finish them up tomorrow then...

Went to church early in the morning (7.30 am!!) to attend the 1st service n witness my uncle's baptism. It's only when I'm there that I find out that the baptism ceremony will not begin till the 2nd service, which started at 9.30 am!!! N I was sleepy throughout the sermon!!! Well, I dun agree with the reverend anyway in some points. I despice patriotism, for I believe it to be the cause of many wars... They call it nationalism, I call it worldly pride. While everybody was singing Negaraku in the service, I was busying cacating the song... Heehee... Wait, will I get arrested for that? -_-"

Well, later I found out that the baptism ceremony will only start at the END of the 2nd service... Whoa... That means around 11 am!!! N I haven't taken my breakfast yet!!! So is my family who are all waiting for us!!! Sheesh... I should have come juz for the 2nd service n have breakfast with my family first b4 I come to the church... Well, I was... misinformed... Sigh... Well, there's nothing I can do then but to stay back n starve for awhile... The ceremony was very simple... Too simple, in my opinion... I will prefer an immersion baptism when I'll be baptized in the future instead of the water sprinkle one... More symbolic n memorable!!!

Well, as for the rest of my days... it's pretty boring... Watched The Two Towers VCD for the 2nd time (4th time if u counted the cinema ones I watched last year), sleeping, n attending dinner with my relatives. Yawn... wat a holiday... Sigh... Hope tomorrow will be better... We maybe going to KLCC at last! Yea!!! Kinokuniya, here I come!!! ^_-
