SMJK (C) KWANG HUA GOES PREMIUM!!!

I've juz heard news from my mum that my ex-secondary school, SMJK (C) Kwang Hua, is requesting for PREMIUM status... Man that principle is dang ambitious... Mum heard that from the PIBG (Parents-Teachers Association) Meeting of my ex primary school, SRJK (C) Kong Hoe. Well, they dun take it as a good thing, for this would mean that the weaker students will not be admitted to the school... Currently, 80+ students in the primary school are applying for Kwang Hua, but only 60 or so will be accepted... So they are very worry now...

For u guys who dun understand y so many students are applying for Kwang Hua, the reason is bcos Kwang Hua is 1 of the 2 only goverment school in Klang that emphasizes the use of the Chinese Language. In other words, Chinese Language is a official subject in our school, and it's compulsory for students to take the subject in PMR n SPM. The periods of Chinese language are inserted among the other subjects throughout the week, unlike usual goverment school where students who are interested in taking Chinese have to stay back after school every Friday, and classes will only commence if there are 15 students minimal in that school who wanna take it... There's a sad true story in a school where 14 students wanna take Chinese... They beg for students who r interested in taking Chinese to enter their school so they can have a Chinese class... I dunno bout their outcome though... Worst, the students got to find the teachers by themselves... All the Chinese teachers in our school has to work extra time at Friday... N they aren't paid in time too... I can't help by felt disgusted on such persecution... >=(

Anyway, if Kwang Hua is to become a premium school, big problems will arise among the Chinese primary school students... But I think I kinda support that move... Not that I'm proud, but I kinda despice most of the students in the last few classes... Not bcos they're slow or dun do well in academics, mind u, but their unwillingness to even TRY... They're like a bunch of useless losers wasting their precious time in school doing nothing but sleep or lepak or wateva... There are so many, SO MANY students every year who wanna enter Kwang Hua failed to do so due to lack of space, n these guys wasted them... Sheesh... The implementation of Kwang Hua as a Premium School would cause more competition, n the weaker ones will be kept out... When I say weaker, I mean those who have no intention to study... Survival of the fittest... It's the way of the 11 years of my past study life, which shaped us into sharp n competent students, but unfairly labelled by many as kiasu... No wonder many students from Chinese school fare better... They've been through so much competition... For those that label ppl kiasu, u guys have take things too easily...

Well, wateva the outcomes, I do hope Kwang Hua could be recognized as a Premium school eventually... It has the potential... As long as incompetent students that do not even exert any effort in their studies are keep out... It sounds harsh, I know, but the fittest survive... That's the law of this world...
